Hemp seed oil

Anti-inflammatory: Uncommonly found gamma linolenic acid in hemp seed oil offers great anti-inflammatory properties. Studies have shown it can increase barrier repair in our skin. Hemp seed oil is absorbed quickly, and helps retain moisture and reduce itchiness in skin. Hemp seed oil contains carotenoids that are also  protective and anti-inflammatory.

Antioxidant: It contains about 800 to 1000 mg per kilogram of oil tocopherols, mostly in the form of gamma tocopherol (about 85%). This is a lovely amount of Vitamin E, antioxidant that works to fight free radicals that are responsible for ageing, tissue damage and disease.

Balanced oil: Hemp seed oil has the perfect balance of omega-3 and omega-6 oils (linoleic to alpha linoleic), which is considered optimal for human health. This is another oil that is very similar to our own natural sebum (the skins natural lubricating medium).

Moisturising: The oleic acid in hemp seed oil is moisturising and cell regenerating.
