Olive oil
Anti-inflammatory: The oil is extremely rich in oleic acid which has great anti-inflammatory properties.
Antioxidant: It contain about 100 to 300 mg per kilogram of oil tocopherols - and squalene, which makes up 40 to 50%! Squalene is found in our sebum (about 12%), which is why you'll see olive oil as listed as being like our natural sebum and allowing our skin to "breathe".
Hydrating: Olive oil works as a natural humectant, pulling moisture from the air and trapping it close to the skins tissues.
Moisturising: Oleic acid in oil is a fatty acid with great moisturising and softening effect.
Penetrating & Protective: Olive oil absorbs by our skin well and it's going to offer occlusive properties to reduce the transepidermal water loss.
